Christ in the Passover Meal
On Saturday night, the church met to hear guest speaker, Michael Sischy, talk about Christ in the Passover meal. Michael is the director of Jews for Jesus in South Africa and he will be going to Jerusalem on a ministry trip later this year.
Easter Services
This is the time where we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ! Where we remember the blood He shed for us. There are a few services happening over the Easter weekend and in the week leading up to Easter. Please make a note of the times and possibly different venues.
What’s On In March
I can’t believe that by the end of this week, we will be in March! This month is just jammed packed, so I thought that I would just give you the low down on what is happening so that you can catch up if you have missed any announcements!
Mountain Movers Youth Camp 2018
Being a leader at Pathfinders (junior youth) and passing the kids onto the leaders at Mountain Movers (senior youth) when they reach high school, we know that they are in good hands and that is what they need at that age, good influences!
Youth Ministries
The 1st term of school started today, which only means one thing… PATHFINDERS and MOUNTAIN MOVERS starts this Friday, 19 January 2018!
Happy New Year!
Just over a week into 2018 already, so this seems a little late… but HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Most people are back at work, others just a few days of leave left and then finally school starts next week (sorry kids).
Church Christmas Dinner
I was so bleak when I realised that I had another function on the same day as the Church Christmas Dinner. People were writing down what dishes they were planning on bringing, cell groups were discussing how they were going to decorate their table etc… serious FOMO (fear of missing out) set in!
JAM Nativity Play
To all who didn’t make the JAM Nativity Play last Sunday, you missed out! The Sunday School put on such a great production for all of us and reminded us what the importance of Christmas is all about.
